February 14

We spent the day at Raf’s school in celebration of Fathers’ Day/Family Day.  Like last year, it was a lot of fun.

There were parades, father-and-son games, lots of food and fun booths.

Their favorite was the Counterstrike.
Waiting patiently in line.
Is it already our turn?
Uh-oh.  Is there a height requirement?  The guy was asking Gabby his age.  I intefered, worried that he might not let Gabby in.
I assured the guy that Gabby will be alright, just give him a smaller gun to carry.  Phew!

KQOTD.  The school has been preparing the Grade 1 students for their First Confession and First Holy Communion, explaining to them the Ten Commandments and the typical sins that children do.  Raf has been extremely a good boy lately.  One afternoon, I saw the result of his Third Quarter Exam in Math.  I reviewed his paper and found two numbers that were correct but marked wrong by the teacher.  On the sidenote, this teacher is notorious for being careless in checking test papers that some parents already complained him.   Me: Raf, can you give this back to your teacher and tell him that this and this (pointing to the items) should be correct.  Why did he mark these wrong?  Hay naku, if I see that crazy teacher again, I’m going to wring his neck!.  Raf (bothered and panicky): Don’t Mommy, you’ll go to hell!
