…. I’ve been very busy lately, taking care of a lot of things. It’s less than 30-days till the big day and guess what? I’ve started packing!
Highlights of the week:
Saturday… morning bazaar at Karl Edwards in Fort Boni and got thermals and sweaters at bargain prices. But I was more excited about the beaded napkin rings that I found and eventually bought (though not part of my shopping list). We also brought Tita Ri to the airport at 6pm. I gained extra poundage during their two-week stay here.

Monday… was a full day affair, started with a business meeting at 9am at DH’s office, then lunch with an old friend from Far East, and ended with dinner with ex-RCBC friends.
Tuesday… dental cleaning for me and DH in the morning, and the kids in the afternoon.

Wednesday… flu shots, all five of us. The shot strengthens our immunity from the common flu, but won’t protect us from swine flu. I went first to show that girls are not afraid of the needle.

Daddy’s turn. If he cries, he will treat us all to dinner. Of course, he didn’t cry. (Trivia: see the kids covering their ears? That’s so Bern. I cover my ears (not eyes) when I’m scared)
Thursday… grocery time.
Friday… medical test. Holding my breath for the results tomorrow, hoping that nothing is wrong with me.

And for today’s daybook (Friday, 5:25pm)
I see downstairs…. lola resting her feet.
I am hearing… Rod Stewart singing “Till There Was You.”
I am feeling… warm and sticky. I just came from outside. We saw “Angels and Demons”.
I am tasting… Auntie Anne’s almond-crusted pretzel with caramel dip.
The kids… left 15 minutes ago to go to the playground.
I am wearing… yellow slipper on my left and orange slipper on my right (I bought them that way), beige capri pants, and pink floral shirt.
To my left…. is DH checking his email.
To my right… is my Epson printer (and noticed the need to refill the continuous ink)
Latest text message… was from my cousin Michelle.
Latest phone call… was from Raf, asking permission if he can eat quail eggs. I said that he can eat them tonight with vegetables.
