It’s spring forward! We adjusted all our clocks one hour ahead for Daylight Savings Time. Lately, I’ve been waking up to the sounds of chirping birds. Spring is coming!

Back in Manila, my Ate has been sending me pictures of some of the plants grown from seeds that I brought and planted back during my December visit. I love that I left them something alive and growing while I’m here in Montreal. We’re waiting for more plants to grow and bloom.

Above are images found in my camera that I didn’t take. Obviously, the boys played with my camera (again!) which I don’t mind at all. I enjoy discovering traces of them thru random things.

* Gabby cooking cremini mushrooms in butter and garlic. Yum.
* The boys helping daddy clear the snow from the deck.
* Lately, Marco and Gabby prefer to sleep on a single twin bed. How they fit together is a mystery, until I saw them one morning. I smile when I see them like this.
* Marco broke his iPad screen. It slipped from his hand and fell on kuya Raf’s guitar. It’s still working, though.
* Gabby’s recent eye checkup. He got two new pairs. His eyesight worsened a bit.
* Gabby sewing for a school project. It’s actually his Valentine’s gift for me, meant to be a surprise but couldn’t keep it to himself because he needed my help with the needle and thread, lol.

Some of February’s plated meals. Riel and I find that we are better able to balance the boys’ diet if we serve them plated meals, with a good amount of vegetables. Surprisingly, they don’t complain.

Spring break, March 2-6.
Monday and Tuesday were like our regular rest days… we lounged at home and did some spring cleaning. Wednesday was lunch out at Souvlaki Bar with our friend, Ceña and family.

Thursday and Friday were the boys’ sleepover with Milton and Kobe at our house. These sleepovers have become a regular thing, either during spring break, summer, or Christmas holidays.

Jojie and I tried the Zippfy sled. She tumbled, I rolled. We both went home battered and bruised, in both body and ego. Imagine girls at 40s rolling down the hill, screaming, slipping and sliding, but we had fun! #feelingnotsoyounganymore #lifeisbetterwithfriends
