Quebec

We were in Quebec City last weekend with Grammy and Grampy.  We took the train and enjoyed the countryside view.

Our train left Montreal at 8am.
Catching up on some Zzzzzzzs.
Our train was very comfortable and we didn’t mind the 3-1/2 hour ride.
Arriving at our hotel.
Frontenac was constructed at the end of the 17th century.
The hotel offers a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence River.

Inside the hotel.
Our room.
The hotel is historic and a tourist destination.  There were in-house tourist guides dressed in 18th century costumes.
I nudged my boys to pose with the lady.  They didn’t want to… but I persisted.
Quebec City reminded me of Intramuros.
It is a walled city.
It was Summer Festival when we were there.  The city was jampacked with tourists.
This street was deserted when we were there last October.
Crowded street.
My boys enjoying cotton candies…
…and soft ice-cream.
Gabby saw a playground and ran towards it.
We all had fun.
Grampy and Grammy enjoyed watching the kids play.
Our hotel at night.
For breakfast, we had omelet.
It was Raf’s request.
We were full.
We walked around the city.
There were a lot of things going around.
There were street performers…
…and street artists.
The trip was something we all enjoyed, the kids especially.
Thanks Grampy and Grammy.  We miss you already.

KQOTD.  So Grampy and Grammy went back home to Manila already. Raf had a brilliant idea: “Mommy, why don’t we have a holiday in Manila, then we ‘hide’ so we don’t have to come back here?”
