Saturday

Saturday was a full day for us.  I wasn’t able to go to my Mom’s place anymore to help for the next day’s wedding.  In the morning, Riel and Raf attended a Father and Son recollection while I attended a Mother’s Seminar in preparation for Raf’s upcoming First Holy Communion.  During the recollection, Raf handed Riel a letter which he wrote the day before.

Dear Dad, Thank you for being my father.  You are always helping me be a good boy.  You are teaching me how to do all virtues spechaly (especially) perseverance, order, kindness and self control. You are the best father I ever had.  (tee hee how many dads do you have, Raf?) You keep on reminding us about good things and getting what is best for us.  You deserve more than I have.  I love you.  You keep on saying I’m better but you are better.  I wish you are not sick.  Love, Raf  (I was speechless and teary-eyed when Riel showed me the letter)

A few days ago, Raf left this drawing on my table.  He did this while waiting for his turn on the Wii.

Daddy is a simple man, loves gadgets and busy most of the time.  Loves Mommy very much the same as mom.  Daddy’s favorite color is silver because he likes colors that are light.

I love Mommy because she gives me nutritious food to eat.  Keeps promises, cooks nice and gives what we need.  Helps us with studies, teaches us, gives us medicine and very loving.  (Awww, I love my seven-year-old)

In the afternoon of Saturday, it was the Father’s Day celebration of my Pre-School children.  It was a family activity.

KQOTD.  Marco: Mommy, did you know that Tito Matt kissed Tita Liezl plenty times, like nine times?  Me: Why? Did you count?  Marco: Yes, but I only counted those that Gabby and I saw.  But I think they kissed more when we were not looking.
