So far we have eight of these 20 x 20 x 20 boxes. How can DH and I manage, I wonder.
Packing our warm clothes. It’s supposed to be summer there in Montreal but my weather widget tells me that temp right now is below 20 during daytime to a single-digit at night time. Brrrr.
Three more days to go and we’re in for a new beginning.
Back here, this is what I see every time I step out of the room:
I actually love our stairs and its halogen lights. It creates a cozy ambience.I don’t like taking photos, do I? This is the hallway connecting our room to the kids’ room. We’re leaving these behind (or maybe I’ll give some to my mom).Books. Words. Images. The current year’s book purchases will all stay behind along with my scrapbooks. The newly-installed rock garden, hoping that when I come back the bamboos are thicker and more stable. The black and white keys that my fingers caress every now and then.I’m not saying goodbye, it’s just ‘see you later’.The kids will miss playing in the garden. My herbs used to grow here… along with Raf’s “monggo experiment”.
Our last weekend here was such a joy. I felt loved. Family came to wish us well.
My last taste of caramel cake. Ate Cris introduced this to me.This is DH’s side of the family. Last week at Sugi was with my side.Lechon Cebu, one of my favorites. The boys with Mommy Ching, their paternal great grandmother.
That Saturday morning, we had our usual breakfast with Mommy Bu, another paternal great grandmother of the boys.
We love listening to Mommy Bu’s stories. She’s a writer and she’s working on three short stories right now.Enjoying our pancakes. And oh, you see that painting displayed between Raf and Marco? Mommy Bu did that painting.
