We usually go up to the mountain to celebrate New Year and escape the city smog. We’ve been doing this for the past eight years. The kids love it there. I love it there.
So yesterday, we packed our bags, dumped the kids at the backseat and headed there.
(The kids –> oblivious of the camera at first, then became conscious, then acted silly)
As soon as we were settled, we took them to the sports club.
There go my boys.Hey Mom, look! A real GTR!
I don’t know if it’s just a boy thing, but these kids can immediately tell the model of the car. To me, they are just utilitarian machines.
We spent most of the afternoon in the indoor playground.Raf saw his classmate there and played the giant tic-tac-toe.Marco enjoyed the monkey bar. His face said it all.Gabby loved the slide.Actually, both the twins loved the slide. They even slid down together. How cool is that?
This morning:
Every morning whenever we’re there, the kids take a walk around the village upon waking up, even before breakfast. And after breakfast, they head to the couch and watch TV.
In front of me:
My breakfast.
Such is life around up there in the mountain every December, post-Christmas.

Oh, before I forget, these are my good friends in RCBC. Guys, we should do these more often. Mau, see you soon.
