So many things had happened since I last posted.
I am back to my painting class and am just so happy about it.

At home, the twins got to use the gingerbread cookie jar mix that Tita Melissa gave them during Nathan’s birthday.

While the twins were baking, Kuya Raf was so engrossed with his current read, a 404-page book called The Time Travelers; it’s the Book One in The Gideon Trilogy. (Now, if only he has the same enthusiasm reading his textbooks, then I’ll be a happier mom).

For today, January 31, 5:21pm
Outside… looks like it has been sprinkled with powdered sugar. It’s -16ºc out there but feels like -26ºc.
Thankful for… having a warm cozy home.
From the kitchen… the chicken is steaming.
I am wearing… a leather belt, among others.
Son #1… is rocking the small table (and I just scolded him for doing that as he could scratch my floor).
Last comment from him… “Mom, the chicken stinks! It smells like hamster.”
Son #2… is in front of me mixing his own Milo drink.
Last comment from him… “Oh yeah, Mom, the chicken stinks. Eeewww.”
Son #3… is lying on the floor playing with his Nintendo DS.
Last comment from him… “How come I don’t smell anything?”
Husband… is upstairs in his office, purging his emails.
Last comment from him… silence
I am hearing… Spongebob on TV.
I am going to… do laundry tonight.
Latest purchase… our ice skates. We took the kids to the outdoor skating rink nearby and we all had fun. It’s the boys’ first time (including Riel) and I’m just so happy that I still know how after 20 years (reminiscing the Megamall days)
Looking forward to… Wednesday painting class and Winter Festival in Brossard on Saturday.
Pictures that I’m sharing:
