We Are Home

We’re back in Manila and I couldn’t be any happier.  It’s nice to be back in the comfort of your home a.k.a. no laundry! *tee hee*   And oh, we received our missing baggage in Vancouver, with three days left before we leave for home.  As they say, better late than never.  Between Montreal and Vancouver, we love Montreal more because of its European flavor, but I felt closer to home when I was in Vancouver.  Maybe because the sights and sounds were familiar, more like the US (and somehow reminded me of Singapore).  You hear people on the street speak in English (as oppose to French in Montreal) and Asians were everywhere, Filipinos too!  The weather was cold, but bearable.  It rained a lot though.  So it is a toss between these two cities.  Wherever DH goes, the family goes gulp!

So how was your Halloween?  We didn’t go trick or treating there but the kids did receive some of the treats from the stores and hotels.

KQOTD. With the weather so cold and French language spoken all around, Gabby asked me: “Mommy, in what planet are we?”
