We got weeds!

But I got my little helper:

Today’s Daybook: May 20, Friday (11:20am)
Outside my window… a beautiful spring day that holds a lot of promise… and hubby’s out there mowing the lawn!

I am remembering… this day eleven years ago in my white dress and a man beside me.
I am wearing… summer shorts. It’s 23˚c outside. Yay!
I am creating… my painting is still a work-in-progress. I used sea sponge for the first time. The reflection on the water needs more work.

Around the house… the same routine stuff going on
A few plans for the rest of the week… host dinner for my uncle (my dad’s brother) who will be here for a week. He’s attending a symposium in downtown Montréal.
Something that made me smile (and laugh) lately… the Mothers Day cards that my boys made for me. They’re so sweet.

From Marco: On est si petit, le monde est si grand; Que serait la vie, sans notre maman. His translation: When we are small, the world is big. What would life be without our mom.

I laughed when I saw the coupon. That would be a big help. So I asked if he can give me more coupons…

And then it gets funny…

Something I am grateful for… true friends

And a video to share:
